Gutermann Upholstery Extra Strong Thread is ideal for use on heavy duty projects. It’s perfect for upholstery, vinyl, heavyweight fabrics, denim and leather. Whether you’re making or mending, this thread is designed to cope with highly stressed seams. Upholstery Extra Strong Thread has a very high break point and is 100% polyester. It is finer than the top stitch thread and can be used for both hand and machine sewing. A size 100 universal needle or top stitch needle is recommended for use with this thread.
